Monster High Art Class
After moving to a new town and school, this birthday girl wanted to include friends from her first and current schools. She wanted to have an activity that everyone could participate in, even if they were a little shy about not knowing all the other guests!
We decided on an Art "class" so that the girls could focus on something of their own, and then had a Monster High dance party, once the artistes had finished their masterpieces and become comfortable with each other.
Starting the party a bit backwards, party guests received their Loot Bags (Paint Cans!) when they arrived, full of everything they would need for the party. An Apron, Canvas with their first initial already on it, glitter and extras they could add, a pencil and activity book for inspiration and some Monster High Swag.
The girls took their places in the workshop and went to town splattering, painting and designing their artwork. Every colour of the rainbow was laid out along with paint pallets, way more brush options than I counted, water cans for cleaning between colours and paper towels for drying brushes.
After a minute to dry, we peeled off the letters to reveal their initial (mostly untouched) within their masterpiece.
Once the painting was finished, the girls dove into the snacks in the next room!
Keeping the Art theme with the food table, there was a Paint Palette cake, Paint (cake) Balls, Paint Brushes (hot dogs in pastry), Monster High colours carried through the candy and the backdrop was set to look like the colours were pouring out of paint cans!
Once the ice was broken, they were all happy to start games and playing together. They had a dance party with Monster High Makeup and Beauty product prizes.
The party girls left with lots of new friends and their paint cans full of goodies!
